1991 Ford Mustang GT

I bought my 1991 Mustang GT in June of 1999. This is a great car. A private seller in Roanoke, Virginia had it listed, and other than spark plugs, spark plug wires, a fuel filter, and a new driver's side muffler, the car was cherry. This is a car that I enjoy working on and driving.

My first dyno test showed 279 ft-lbs and 209 horsepower to the wheels. I ran a 14.1 @ 96.7 at MRI Budds Creek in the fall of 1999 with a pretty lousy 2.6 60 foot time. What can I say, I'm pretty lousy at the launch. But I was thrilled with the experience.

Where I lack the knowledge I try to seek help online, either through 50racing or Fordnatics. I also look online for others in the same hobby for motivation. There are a lot of people that have been down this road before and they are willing to offer advice to the younger generation to help us out. I think that's a very good thing.
